Bio
A'zih's story actually begins well before his birth, starting with his mother: E'whafi Zih. Dissatisfied with tribal life at the hands of unscrupulous Nunhs, E'whafi struck out of her small community while she had yet to learn of her pregnancy. Seeking a much grander life for herself, the Sunseeker took to Ul'dah's grand Gold Saucer to spend her last gil in an attempt to win big. And-- she did!Titled the "Lucky Lady" after her unrivaled success at nearly every game she played, the unconventional Miqo'te eagerly spent her earnings in order to purchase a dwelling, a title of nobility, and a new name. No longer would she be tied to the tribe, and E'whafi Zih became Wafilee Perrywinkle.Heavily pregnant and living it up, Wafilee gave birth to a healthy baby boy; and it is said (by A'zih mostly) that immediately following his birth Miqo'te's uncanny luck transposed itself onto her child, twisting into a malignant curse of misfortune instead. This is said (by A'zih mostly) because merely 5.304 seconds after the boy's birth he was named Azhmirael Godbite Perrywinkle the Third.Growing up in the lap of luxury Azhmirael was treatly fairly well-- despite his hilariously bad name. His eccentric mother was still as loving as possible, and none could say he didn't have access to what he wanted; but, as he aged it became clearer than ever that he was in fact terrible at everything he tried. Azhmirael was also rather lazy, distraction prone, and surly besides.At the age of 23 Azhmirael found living in Ul'dah unbearable, the thought of living day in and day out in the same place and seeing the same faces bored him to death. So-- despite his wildly incompetent self, he took on a fake name and ran away from home. Azhmirael became A'zih Tia and fled to Limsa, hearing plenty of tall tales involving pirates the cat had a rather naive dream of becoming one; and after many months of searching, he joined the crew of one Captain Bird.
RPJust some addendums and RP starters I had in mind whilst making A'zih.
Pirate (Captain?) - A'zih has been a pirate for years aboard the crew of Bird's Paradise; and if you catch him away from the other crewmates he'll tell you he's the captain. In reality A'zih has been the deck swabber for nearly two decades, and if you have a mind to invite him to your crew or change his ways-- well, you can try!Unlucky - This cat does not have nine lives, and while he might boast of how he lost his eye in a grand duel with a rival captain-- the truth is he dozed off while standing and smashed his eye socket in the mop handle. Tripping, falling, or stumbling, this man will make his way into your life somehow.Antagonist - If you need a Team Rocket tier bad guy, then A'zih is your man. The likelihood of his success is zilch, and you might just end up feeling sorry for the poor sucker.Ul'dah Nobility - It's been many years, but if you run in the same circles as the rich and famous in Ul'dah you might have heard of the eccentric "Lady Luck" and her less than fortunate son. Depending on how far back you might have personally met A'zih when he was known as Azhmirael-- much to his chagrin.
Mature Themes? - Yes! I'm an adult, and assuming you are too, I honestly prefer exploring adult themes. I'm not looking to sugar coat life.*All RP? Even THAT one? * - Yes. Even THAT one. But keep in mind, I don't usually plan on exploring that with A'zih at the drop of a hat. I'm very character focused, and prefer all RP to have literary significance; even the porn.Battle? - Short answer: Probably not
Long answer: A'zih is a terrible pirate and worse swordsman, he might start a fight with you but end it himself by tripping on his own shoe. If you plan on teaching A'zih combat then that's another matter entirely.Anything Else? - Nope! Let me know if there's anything else you wanna know, either through discord or in game!
